The purpose of the East Missouri District
The sole purpose of the District shall be to function as an administrative division of Optimist International in furtherance of the purposes of Optimist International. The District shall provide service and support to member Clubs for the purpose of enhancing growth, participation, administration and youth service.
What Optimists Do
Optimist Clubs participate in community service programs that are dedicated to bringing out the best in kids. Since each Club is autonomous and run by members in their community, Optimists have the unique flexibility to serve the youth of their area in any way they see fit.
