We are super excited to have OI President Jan Graves join our conference via Zoom! She will likely comment on the SS Optimism 2024-2025 Cruise.
Lorin has been an Optimist for nine years, and belongs to the Lower Providence Optimist Club in Pennsylvania. She has held numerous positions including: Club President, Foundation Representative, Lieutenant Governor, Governor of the Atlantic Central District, District Marketing Chair, Optimist International Marketing Committee Member and this year I serve as the International Marketing Chair.
Her professional background includes Director of Marketing and Sales for Valley Forge Promotions. Lorin is skilled in Sales Forecasting, Customer Trends, Event Management, Proposal Writing and Account Management. She has extensive Graphic Design experience, including developing Social Media Campaigns and Printed Marketing Collateral. Additionally, she is trained in analyzing marketing trends and data; adjusting campaigns based upon results.
Lorin is the current owner of Beevisible, which provides consulting and freelance work for businesses looking to improve their online presence through social media, website development and email marketing.
She lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her husband Carlos (also an Optimist) and her loyal dog, Zee. In her spare time, she loves to travel, cook and paint portraits.
Michael joined the Waterville-Brothertown Optimist Club (Waterville, NY) on April 10, 2017. In 2020-2021, Michael served as President of the club and has also been a member of its board of directors. He was the New York-New England District Governor from 2021-2022 and served as District Secretary for two years prior to that. Currently, he is the chair of the Optimist International Membership Engagement Committee and co-chair of his Optimist Club's Social Committee. During the day, he works as a Telecommunications Specialist for a school district, supporting their technology needs.
Over the years, Optimists have accomplished many important milestones in our mission to support youth and our communities. Likewise Sandy has worked tirelessly on many Optimist projects. She brings a personal touch everything she does.
