East Missouri Optimist District Jr Golf Tournament June 5

The East Missouri Optimist District Junior Golf Tournament will be held at Ste. Genevieve Golf Club, 17450 Clubhouse Ct., Ste. Genevieve, MO on Wednesday, June 5, 2019! This tournament is held in cooperation with the Gateway PGA's Junior Program and is a qualifier for the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships to be held at Trump National Doral Resort and Spa, Miami, Florida in July.
All young golfers are invited to register. The girls divisions are as follows: ages 10-12; 13-14; 15-18. The boys divisions are as follows: ages 10-11; 12-13; 14-15; 16-18. All divisions will play on June 5th.
A limited number of golfers in each division advance to the international championships provided they shoot the minimum qualifying score. If a golfer who lives outside the District qualifies, his/her participation will not eliminate a District resident from qualifying. The East Missouri Optimist District provides financial support for winner to attend the international championships. Amount provided and the age divisions covered varies. There is no guarantee financial support will be provided to golfers who travel outside their home District.
In order to be eligible, a golfer, must provide proof of age. golfers must be enrolled in high school or must be a 2019 high school graduate to be eligible. Any golfer who attended college is no longer considered a "junior golfer" and is not eligible to participate.
